Participation in the Traditions of the Catholic Church
Deriving its inspiration from the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, the school strives to instill the Christian values of holiness, the inherent dignity of the person, and the necessity of the loving family as the basic unit of a good society. These values of holiness, dignity, and family form the foundation on which children build healthy spiritual, emotional, physical, and intellectual lives as adults and followers of Jesus Christ.
The community of Holy Family Academy (along with the entire Catholic Church) has at the center of its life the celebration of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. The frequent reception of the Sacrament of Penance is strongly encouraged as a means of developing an ever-deeper relationship with our Redeemer.
Spiritual formation is an integral part of life at Holy Family Academy. Among the spiritual exercises practiced in the school are: recitation of the Rosary, prayer devotions, and participation in the liturgical seasons and the annual cycle of Saints.
Classical, Liberal Education
Intellectual development is achieved at Holy Family Academy through the basic components of a classical liberal education: Religion, English Grammar and Literature, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies and Geography, History, Art, Music, and Physical Education.
Christian Service
Students at Holy Family Academy are involved in Christian service through participation in school activities and their local Parishes.
